The Division of Consumer Protection (DCP) is one of seven agencies within the Utah Department of Commerce. The Mission of the Division of Consumer
Protection is to protect consumers from unfair and deceptive business practices, to encourage the development of fair business practices, and to provide
consumer education. The Division has a three-pronged approach to consumer protection: education, registration, and enforcement.
