How do I find out the registered agent or address for a business?   How do I register my business?

Businesses are registered with the State of Utah through the Utah Division of Corporations and Commercial Code.  To find out how to register your business or to find out the registered agent, address or other information for a Utah business, contact the Division of Corporations and Commercial Code.  You may also want to contact the city or county where the business is located to see if the business has a local business license.

The Division of Consumer Protection registers ONLY the following organizations (in addition to a business filing with the Division of Corporations and Commercial Code):

• Charitable Organizations
• Professional Fundraisers / Fundraising Counsel / Fundraising Consultants
• Credit Service Organizations
• Health Spa Facilities
• Telemarketers
